All the tracks on this CD are also on the CD "Possum Belly Overalls". Read my review of that CD for more information on these tracks.

I have noted the following differences with "Possum Belly Overalls":

• The 2 "Self Portrait" outtakes that are on "Possum Belly Overalls" are not on "Yesterday".
• The sound quality of "Yesterday" is better. The difference is very small and I wouldn't be surprised if others would have the opinion that the quality is equal or that "Possum Belly Overalls" has the better quality. I find "Yesterday" too be sounding a little bit clearer and to have less notable hiss.
• The index marks are not always at the same position. In view of the nature of these recordings, that is only to be expected.
• The transit from "Rainy Day Women" to "Song To Woody" differs. On "Possum Belly Overalls" it sounds like the recorder was stopped for a brief moment and started again when the musicians started "Song To Woody". On "Yesterday" the fumblings after "Rainy Day Women" are faded out. Then "Song To Woody" is faded in, where you can just hear the starting of the recorder. According to Michael Krogsgaard's findings of 1995 "Song To Woody" was recorded earlier than "Rainy Day Women". If that is true, then the impression given by "Possum Belly Overalls" is wrong. If you listen to the whole CD, it doesn't matter, but if you want to play just "Song To Woody" then "Yesterday" allows you to start this it nicely than "Possum Belly Overalls".
• "Possum Belly Overalls" comes in a jewel case, but "Yesterday" in a fold-out cardboard sleeve, of which the right half contains the CD and a sheet of paper with the track list, and the left half contains nothing and can't contain anything, since it's closed. The CD in the right half hasn't an inner sleeve and consequently it's quite awkward to get it out without smudging it with fingerprints.
• "Possum Belly Overalls" gives as date for all recordings from the sessions with George Harrison May 1970 (correct) and as venue Columbia Studios, Nashville, Tennessee (incorrect). "Yesterday" attributes "Ghost Riders In The Sky" through "Rainy Day Women" to Columbia Studios, Nashville, Tennessee, May 1969 (incorrect) and the rest to Columbia Studio B, New York City, 1 May 1970 (correct).

The CD "Almost Went To See Elvis", which I haven't heard, seems to have the same contents as "Yesterday" and to be a straight copy of it.
