I (Lonesome Sparrow) haven't seen or heard this CD-R, but I have
obtained some information on it. It's been sourced from the vinyl
bootleg LP "Stealin" that was released by Har-Kub Records, the Hobo
Label and a blank label. There are no tracks from the Basement Tapes on
it, nor any other performances by Bob Dylan & The Band, so the title
"Bob Dylan & The Band: Stealin' (The Lost Basement Tapes)" is highly
misleading. It's has been advertised with the following words:
> 13 rare out-takes and unused tracks from just before the legendary
> "Basement Tapes" album sessions. A must for the hardcore fan and
> collector. Sound quality is fine considering history of source
> material.
There are no tracks from just before the legendary "Basement Tapes"
on it, for that should mean recordings from May 1966.
Tracks 2, 3, 8 and the first song track 11 have been officialy released,
while the other tracks are all available in better quality on other
unofficial CDs.
Please do not buy this.
