Neither one of the 2 CD sets does contain the entire concert. The
Dandelion set contains all the tracks of the Railway CD and 9
more. For consecutive performed songs the Dandelion set has
in some cases the concert moments between those songs and in
the other cases it doesn't. Whether this is also so on the Railway
CD, I don't know.

Crazy Joe rated the Dandelion set 4 on a 0 - 5 scale.

Eric Schoneveld wrote about the Dandelion set:

> Finally someone releases this excellent soundboard tape on cd. It might
> have been done before, although I can't remember when. This sbd-tape from
> Drammen '81 features a great show, typical for '81.
> Rating 5/5

One Arild wrote (rec.music.dylan, 1 September 1998):

> I recently purchased the double Dandelion-label CD "In The
> Summertime" (Drammenshallen show July 1981) and I have noticed that
> the sound is a bit distorted. So I’m wondering if all the Dandelion
> "In The Summertime" CDs are distorted or is it only my copy?

One Thor answered (rec.music.dylan, 1 September 1998):

> Mine is too. It's probably the source tape.

And Andrea Falesi answered (rec.music.dylan, 6 September 1998):

> Yes, the double "In the Summertime" is somewhat distorted.
> You can find half of the same show in far better quality,
> on the single cd with the same name by Railway label.
> Sadly not the complete show and with a couple of songs
> not sing by Dylan. Strange choice...

Andrea's remark on songs not sung by Dylan on the Railway CD does
not concur with the track list I have given above. The distortion
is the kind of distortion you get when you set your recording level
too high. It varies from track to track. There is also a lot of
hiss. Because of the high ratings of Eric Schoneveld, Crazy Joe
and Moe I was disappointed about the sound quality when I heard
this set the first time. But now I enjoy listening to it.

The Dandelion set has as bonus 8 tracks from the 22 January 1980
concert. About these the commentary in the booklet says: "Early 1980
Dylan and Columbia decided to record one of his shows in Denver for
future official live release. The January 22nd show at the Rainbow
Music Hall was picked out and eight tracks were professionally
remixed but unfortunately remained in the vaults. Only from a
recently discovered master stereo-acetate you can hear" And then it
goes on to rave about these tracks. According to the back cover these
tracks are the complete unreleased live album. But according to the
CD "Rock Solid" on the Junkyard Angel label this officially
unreleased live album consisted of 7 tracks from the 19 April 1980
concert. Which of the 2 CD sets is right, I don't know. Anyway, I
don't believe the Dandelion set presents the concert as it would have
been released. True enough the tracks are blended together to give
the impression of a continuous concert, which is not the case for the
19 April 1980 tracks on the "Rock Solid" CD (or the "Dancing In The
Dark" CD set on the Moonlight label), but "Slow Train" and "Saving
Grace" are faded out before they have ended. On all 8 tracks Dylan's
voice is mainly in the right channel, with the result that when I play
it over my speakers, it is drowned on "Precious Angel" and "Slow Train".
The drums are very sharp, which makes them hiss. There's also a
considerable amount of recording hiss.
