(1-8) Studs Terkel Wax Museum, WFMT, Chicago, Illinois,
recorded 3 May 1963, broadcast at a later date. [046]
[complete] [Many place the recording earlier: 26 April
    1963?] Cf T-100, T-305.

A wonderful CD, highly recommended, but why oh why did the
gentlemen at Yellow Dog Records not follow their own lead
and produced this like Cynthia Gooding's WBAI-FM programme
on the CD Folksingers Choice [T-200] with the songs and each
piece of conversation given individual track numbers so a CD
player could be programmed to play it as is, just songs, or
just conversation?!?

The Studs Terkel radio programme is also available on Before
The Flood And After The Fire [T-305], and on A Hard Rain's
Gonna Fall [T-100] with the conversation removed and a fake
audience mixed in!

The keeper of the site "Songs For Johanna" rates this CD 4.5 out of 5 and writes:

"A fascinating radio interview mixed with live performances. There's a bit of word play going on here, too. This is what Dylan is famous for. But most of the interview, Dylan isn't playing around. It presents a flattering portrait of Dylan and lends us some insight into his early years."
