Does anyone have any clues as to more precise dates of the above
material?

I assume they mean May 20th for tracks 9-10.
I'm wondering what dates 1-8 are from, and if they are available
on other boots.
Would this be the best source for this material?

Thanks,
Rick

They are certainly not 'USA tour 1965'.. Wow, that's a pretty eclectic group of songs... I've never seen the CD, but the probable dates of recording are: > 1. Midnight train 0:58 > 2. Can you please crawl out your window? 0:53 Not sure about these two... > 3. I wanna be your lover 3:33 > 4. Number one 4:03 Hawks sessions, 10/65 is the only date I have for the first, 11/30/65 for 'Number One'. > 5. Visions of Johanna 7:40 Probably also from the 11/30/65 session, could also be from 1/26/66. > 6. She's your lover now 6:35 If it's the full band version, it's from the Hawks Sessions on either 11/30 or 12/1, 1965. The solo piano date is unknown, probably earlier, although some think it may be from Feb. '66. > 7. Jet pilot 1:30 Hawks Sessions 10/65. Probably the same version as on 'Biograph' which was cut down in length for no apparent reason. > 8. If you gotta go, go now 3:00 Early 1965...Bringing It All Back Home sessions, not sure of the date. The rest sound right...like you said, Edinburgh is actually 5/20. >Would this be the best source for this material? Like I said, I haven't heard it, but I'm doubtful...the Black Panther 'Live in New York' CD of the New York Philharmonic 10/31/64 show was pitiful. -bjm-
